Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the process?
Most commissions take approximately 4–7 weeks from the time your deposit is received to the delivery of your completed save the dates.
How does the payment work?
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to begin the commission process. The remaining balance is due once your custom artwork has been completed and before printing begins. Payments are currently accepted via Venmo.
Can you paint places other than wedding venues?
Absolutely! While many couples choose their wedding venue, I'd be happy to paint any place that's meaningful to your story. Your painting can also include the meaningful details that make your story uniquely yours, from boats & pets to favorite flowers, vintage cars, family traditions, & more.
Do you address the envelopes?
At this time, I do not offer envelope addressing. Your save the dates will arrive ready for whatever mailing prep you choose, whether that's hand-addressing, printed addresses, or working with a calligrapher.
Is professional printing required?
No! While most couples choose professionally printed save the dates, you’re also welcome to purchase the original 8×10 watercolor painting and high-resolution digital file on its own.
Can I cancel my commission?
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission. If you choose not to move forward after reserving your commission, the deposit will not be refunded.
